This great value, easy-to-make and refreshing non-alcoholic drink was invented in northern England at the height of the 1700s global spice trade as an alternative to real (and more expensive) beer. Delicious on its own - as it possesses a wonderfully pungent gingery ‘kick’ - it may also be mixed with alcoholic spirits and is particularly delicious with slices of warmed Grasmere Gingerbread®.
This kit, presented in a tasteful tied canvas bag, makes six litres of old-fashioned ginger beer and is ready to drink in around 7 days.
Full instructions on making your ginger beer given on the tag. Blended, sewn and packed in the UK. Reuse the outer fabric bag and the plastic bag containing the ingredients can be recycled.

Please note even though it is non-alocholic there is always a potential for some alcohol to be produced, less than 1%, these are natural processes and will vary in different conditions.
