Planning a visit to the shop

A visit to The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop can really engage your students. We can add to your curriculum whether it concerns local history, literature, poetry or writing.

Free visit

You may visit our shop at any time during trading hours but please check “Our Shop” for opening times and exact location. Please note we are cashless if students are wishing to purchase from the shop. 

If you can please inform us in advance of your selected date and approximate time to enable us to prepare for your visit.

Special visit

Educational groups can book special visits which include a 15-minute history talk and Q & A session; refreshments (juice/water) (tea/coffee for teachers & leaders), and a piece of Grasmere Gingerbread®.

Pupil price: £2.50 (including VAT). Teachers and leaders are free. Pupil price applicable to under 16s.
