Gennaro Contaldo Gennaro Contaldo is one of the most respected chefs in London - the personal mentor of Jamie Oliver. Since first tasting Grasmere Gingerbread four years ago, when he met Joanne in Cumbria, he now insists on regular deliveries to his Passione restaurant in London. “A few months after we first met I was thrilled to see Gennaro quoted in the Sunday Telegraph saying that Grasmere Gingerbread was the best in the world - a wonderful fillip for our business,” says Joanne.  Born on the Amalfi Coast, Gennaro’s Italian spirit and positive nature has made him a TV favourite with appearances on ‘Richard and Judy’, ‘BBC Breakfast’, ‘Saturday Kitchen’, ‘Good Food Live’, ‘Jamie’s Kitchen’, ‘Oliver’s Twist’ and ‘Jimmy’s Farm’.
